Getting there. Egmont lies at the top of Agamemnon Channel where it meets Jervis Inlet, just outside Skookumchuck Narrows. The Narrows run to 16 knots and are only transited at slack — check the tables before you commit, and use the Backeddy as the waiting room rather than the destination if you are timing a passage through. Transient moorage is $2.00/ft for vessels to 125 feet; power is subject to availability, so ask when you book. Always carry official charts and current Notices to Mariners.
