Getting there. Silva Bay lies at the south-east corner of Gabriola, entered from the Strait of Georgia through Gabriola Passage or from the north past Tugboat Island — the bay is studded with rocks and the marked entrance matters. Hail on VHF 66A. Nightly moorage is $2.45 per foot from May 15 to September 7 and $1.80 the rest of the year, for vessels to 75 feet, with mid-grade gas and diesel on the dock. Always carry official charts and current Notices to Mariners.
